I smirked after him and walked back to the caves with him. I hated the deafening noise of the roaring water, but I tried to ignore it. I caught the clothes and went to a deep corner and quickly changed, almost laughing at myslef but I managed to hold it in. I came back to Lucas and saw him looking around for something I looked at the floor where some blankets had fallen. "Looking for these?" I asked bending down and picking them up handing the blankets to Lucas.

I smirked at her "yes... but something else too" I said lying the blackents down and walking over the where I thought we kept the blackents and stuff and found two sleeping bags taking them back I opened one and lay it down all the way open on top of the other blackents so that it would be like pallet and then I flipped the top sleeping bag on top of it, and gestured for her to lay down.

I srugged and watched him. I smirked slightly. I walked over to the pallet-like thing and layed down.

I smiled at her watching her, she was beautiful I thought, and then moving the edge of the water fall I looked out I had a nagging feeling that something was watching and it made me feel weird about sleeping, I eventully went back to Kaari after I was certain that she was settled in, I layed down beside her wrapping my arms around her and holding her close. I pulled the sleeping bag over us.

I watched Lucas go to the edge of the waterfall and eventually turned over on my side and closed my eyes. I wasn't yet asleep when Lucas came back. I snuggled into his warmth gladly, and stayed as close to him as I could.

I woke up some where in the night, I looked at the waterfall it looked like mirror with the moon shining threw it, and while watching it I drifted off again. (she can wake up first in the morrining, that's when we will start day two, and then at the end of that day almost dawn Devline will show up  ) |

(okay.  ) I yawned and rubbed my eyes as I slowly started to wake up. I slowly and quietly took the blankets off me, trying not to wake Lucas up. I walked over to the waterfall and sat down hugging my knees to my chest, watching the water on the waterfall flow down. I sighed watching the waterfall. (no muse.... :/) |

When I woke up there was a faint light coming threw the waterfall but not enough to light the cave without night visison you would still have to use a lattern I got up I didn't even need to look to know where Karri was. I get up and walk over to her and kneel down next to her and just stare at her.
(I think I am gonna make a wolf banner and see if I can succed in making a wolf skin what do you think?)

I turned to Lucas and smile. "So what do you wanna do for my last free day?" I asked him. I was happy but I was also a bit worried. The change could be fatal for females. If something happened, it would be horrible.

I smiled down at her. "well first I want to check the premiter, and then you can chose what we do" I said. I kissed her lightly on her temple. I couldn't wait for tomorrow night that's when she would become my mate for life, if she accepted me that is.
(after your next poat we can skip to night cause that is when Devline is gonna come when its almost day time, the day she shifts, cause I haves a plan and Lucas needs to be awake first for it to work)

We didn't do much for the rest of the day except lying by the pool watching the clouds float by. It was nightfall by time we went back to the cave, I lay there with Kaari wrapped in my arms I never wanted to let her go...
It was late in the night when I felt something near. I rose and sniffed the air but couldn't smell anything. I quickly turned on the latern and went to Kaari and shook her lightly "Kaari wake up" I repaeted a few times.

I blinked my eyes groggily as I was shookedn awake. I jumped up startled. "What's wrong?" I asked hurriedly in a shaky voice. Great. I knew it. Right before I change something bad happens. I looked arpund everywhere, but could barely see anything. I didn't have night vision yet.

I sniffed the air again but still nothing but something was deafently close by and it wasn't here to be nice. I looked back at Kaari "can't you feel it?" he I asked her.
I crept up the edge of the cave I would wait till my brother had his true love up before I made myself visable, it wouldn't be as good if they weren't both there.

I shivered, I could definitely feel somethig bad in the air. I walked closer to Lucas, still shivering every now and then. I could tell it wanted something from me. Or mayvbe it just wanted me. "I don't know what it is, but it's freaking me out, I said the small hairs on the back of my neck sticking up as I went over to Lucas.

I sniffed the air again still nothing. Who was so clos? It was almost dawn outside tonight would be Kaari's first shift and I needed to be with her. I just knew I couldn't lose her. The hair on the nape of my neck stood on end and I turned to the back entarence to the cave. I low growl arupted from me, and I pushed Kaari behind me trying to keep her from this person holding a gun and then I knew who he was... It was my brother Devline.
Devline stepped into the ligt of the lattern, his black hair shoulder length just like Lucas's hair, his eyes a dual gray nothing like the stunning silver in Lucas's eyes. "hello Lucas, where are your manners? you don't even interduce your own brother to your girlfriend?" he asked.

I let out a small grunt as I was pushed behind Lucas. I also let out a small whimper, now more scared than before. I step on my tip toes and manage to see a glimpse of the guy over Lucas's shoulders. With a gun. He looked like Lucas, except for his dull eyes. And he definitely didn't look as nice and kind. Especially with that gun. He was a little ways away, and if Lucas could destract him I may be able to get the gun... No, he would be too strong. Unless I could somehow take him by surprise. I wasn't sure, but I was sure of one thing. I was terrified and worried, not only for me but also for Lucas.

(bullets can't hurt a shifter unless its silver, or if they get shot in the head or the heart and silver will only kill them when their in wolf form)
I held Kaari behind me trying to keep her out of harms way. "Get out of here Devline" I said in a growl and went unnatrully still.
"don't even think about shifting, I've got a silver bullet in here" he said grinning an evil smile.
"what are you doing here Devline?" I asked him.
He grinned evilly "she will die her first shift if your not with her" he said.
"I will be with her" I said in a strong voice.
"not if I take her from you" he said cocking the gun and aiming towards Lucas and before you could even react a powerful ecoe went threw the the cave.
I shoved Kaari out of the way as the bullet hit me. I yelled at the burning pain of the silver. He had backed me and Kaari up and we were standin right in front of the waterfall, as the bullet hit me in the stomach I fell to the cave floor...

(haha okay. ) I tensed up. I had a bad feeling that he was gonna be right. That I wouldn't be with Lucas. "No!" I shouted in a weak voice as I also fell to my knees beside Lucas. "Lucas..." I whispered to him. "Be okay..." I said a tear streaming down my cheek. One of my hands was in a fist so tight that my knuckles were turning more white than I thought possible. "Why..." I said silently. He wasn't a wolf. It wouldn't kill him. But still... Why? It wasn't even me who I was worried about at the time. It was Lucas. How bad was he hurt? |

I took a deep breath and looked at Kaari. "bad...." I said before snifling a cry, if I could get the silver out of me then I could shift and heal, but if I shifted now I would die.
Devline walked over and grabbed Kaari by the wrists and bound then together with a rope that had a little leash thing on it. "he knows I wasn't bluffing about the silver" he said with an evil voice. He started walking towards to outside and pulled her with him. When he got out he started up the hill that led out of this little valley part, everyone else came in at the bass, Devline wanted to leave from the top this is where you could see the river the fed the waterfall.

ANother tear went own my cheek before devline started to take me away. I saw that he was going up the hill, not many shifters went that way. I wasn't sure if he still had a bullet or not, so I couldn't do anything. I glared at devline, with my jaw set tight. That's all I could do right now, is glare at the jerk who did this.

As they reached the top of the hill Devline stopped and turned to meet Kaari's glare. He was unfased by it. "sit rest for minute. I'd almost forgotten how little stamina we have before the first shift." He said with an uncaring voice.

I sat down, still glaring at him. I wanted to ask him something.... but what if he shot me too? Oh well. That's what he wanted, for me to die. "WHy are you doing this? Why do you want to kill me?" I asked him with a mean tone. I tensed up. Why did he want to kill me? Why was he so heartless? How could anyone be that heartless? I sighed and shook my head. The world was really messed up these days....
