Lucas
I sat at the edge of the water looking out over my beautiful land, I was the alpha male of the Ranger Pack, we were the only werewolves that were not considered werewolves we were shifters, we could turn human when we chose and turn to wolf and werewolf, we were the ultimate solider, I sat staring at my human reflection in the water, my mixed shoulder length hair sweeping into my face, I there was nothing in this world I wanted more then to have Kaari here with me, when she had first joined us I felt like I had been pouched in the chest, and now I sat here waiting for her to come, I just wanted her to be with me, to be my mate, I could feel it we were meant for each other.

I step elegantly towards Lucas. He always wanted something from me. At least I was never lonely, he was always just there. "You wanted something?" I asked nicely. I had acctually liked Lucas for a while, but then I figured he didn't like me. Maybe if he did like me... Oh well. He was thinking, looking into the water at his human reflection. I was in human form now too, my hair being held back by a silver headband. I just wore sweatpants a T Shirt and a white bomber jacket over top of the shirt. I didn't really care about my appearnce, but I really didnt have to. The male wolves always seem to be right on my tail.

I looked up across the lake when I hear Kaari I knew she was there before she even stepped out of the trees I would know her smell anywhere I could follow her to the ends of the earth just to smell that smell her again, "Yes I want something" I said looking back into the water and then standing so I could face her, "Kaari theres something you need to know" I said grabing her by the arms and looking her in the eyes, oh how much I wanted to kiss her, it took my streath not too, still looking her in the eyes, "Karri the first time I saw it hit me so hard I didn't think I would ever walk right again" I said giving her one of my rare grins "alls I want from you is an answer, if it is no then I will just creep away" I said with a sigh, "if the answer is no I think I might just die" I said in a strong breath, "just tell me you don't feel this pull that's between us?" I asked her still holding onto her arms.

I give out a shaky sigh, but still smile. I looked back into his eyes without so much as a blush. "If I said no I would be lying," I said. And I thought he didn't like me the way I liked him. But he was right. There had always been something there. I was just too stupid to see it right there in front of me. I didn't pull away from him or even tense up. I just stood there, looking into his eyes as he looked into mine.

I look into her eyes, I could feel the heat running down my spine, my silver eyes shining and I smile to her, I give her one of my rare smiles that shows my teeth when she answered, it wasn't a yes but it was as close to a yes as I was gonna get, I didn't loosen my grip on her arms, I stepped a little closer looking into her eyes, I was about a foot taller then her, I stand so close to her now that my chest is almost touching hers, I look down into her eyes, I didn't move to kiss her not yet, if she wanted this then she would let me know, cause I knew our first kiss would be our bonding, it would make her my forever, mate, and destiny, but I had to wait for her to make the first move I had to know that she wanted this.
(my cousin is having a laughing fit right now and making me have one!!! I littery have tears coming out of my eyes and my stomach hurts from laughing LOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD)

( hahaha. XD when I hear about or hear people having laughing fits I have one! XP)
I smile up at him, wondering if he can hear my heart pounding as good as I could. He was waiting for me to make the first move. I rolled my eyes playfully and giggled a little, but I looked up, stood on my tip toes, and kissed him. I was tall, but he was taller. My heart was pounding, but I didn't really care. Now our chests were touching, and I put my arms around him, still kissing him. I never really thought this would be me. With him. I thought I would end up jealously watching another girl with him, but I was wrong. It was me. Apparently it always was.

I looked down into her eyes, my heart beating steady and easy, I could feel hers beating so fast I thought it might stop, when she stood up on her toes that was all I needed to lean down and kiss her, I ran my arms around her and my hands down her back, I hold her close to me, from this moment on I knew she would always be mine, I kiss her again, and inhale her scent she smelled so good, in this one momment she gave me reason to accept what I was, with her I would be happy being a Ranger.

My heart was still beating fast, but not a blush or peep came from me. I was acctually happy here wuth him, just the two of us. I shivered from happiness when his hands rubbed down my back. I always loved it when guys did that. It always felt good knowing I had someone to care about me, someone that would hold me in their arms.

I could feel her heart beating agenst my chest, it made my heart beat harder but not faster, I held her in the circle of my arms, I hold her tight, I kiss her again and then move to her neck inhaleing the beautiful scent that was her, I brought my head back up and kissed her again with passsion, I sigh as I pull my head back to look at her "I think your beautiful" I said running my thumb down her cheek.

For the first time a blush finally comes to my cheeks, but only a light blush. I smile at him, and not knowing exactly how to respond I decided to give him a compliment back. "Well you have a nice smile. You know, when you acctually smile," I said, adding a little humor in it.

I smiled at her and laughed lightly at what she said, "well until now I didn't have anything to smile about, not being with made me doudt everything I was, everything we are, but now with you I'm certain of what I am, what my destiny is" I said bringing her in for another kiss, as I drew back I moved down her neck, inhaling as I travled down her neck, then lightly kissing her neck.

I smiled widely at Lucas. I sighed happily and hugged Lucas tightly, as if I would never let go. I knew something now that I would have never found out if this hadn't happened. I loved Lucas. He was my source of warmth, and protection.

I sighed and held her tightly to me, I was still kissing her neck, I inhaled again her scent was intoxicating, I kissed her neck again and sighed deeply, and then moving my lips close to her ear "You could never imaggian how much I want you" I whispered to her, before moving back to her lips and kissing her with such passion, there was no way she wouldn't know what I was feeling for, "the first time I saw you it was like some one hit me in chest with a basball bat" I said with a no humer, "it was the most intense thing I have ever felt in my life" I said to her before kissing her again.

I kissed Lucas back, but a sound I heard in the woods startled me. I mustve been imagining things, so I ignored it. I smiled against Lucas's lips. "Hm. I felt similiar... I just tryed not to stare at you too long," I said before kissing him again. I wasn't really joking either. The other female wolves seemed to want him too, and when I was the newest wolf in the back, I didn't want them to have any reason to not like me.
(No muse... :/ I have an idea though. You should make a female wolf that is jealous of Kaari. Note the sound in the woods. Just an idea)

I felt her tense at a twig snapping in the bushs and I held tighter, when she relaxed again, I kissed her neck again, moving my lips to her ear "you smell so good" I said, to a shifter there was nothing that smelled better then the naturl fragrince of a soul mate, "I could follow you to the ends of the earth on that scent alone," I said kissing her again, every time I thought I felt more hunger for her, holding her tight to me I kissed her with a hunger that would never be satisfaied, I would need her forever.

Sometimes being around him scared me, but I really id not know why, it just did. I would still stay with him as long as I could though. Nothing could change that, even my own wierd, unexplainable feelings. |

I smiled at her, and titled my head to the side looking her in the eyes, and then leaning down so I could speack in her ear "I feel the same way" I said reading her mind, it was that way with us, after we were bonded she would be able to read my mind out of wolf form, until then I could read hers "your moon is in three days you can't go threw it alone" I whispered to her, the first moon after her seventeenth birthday would be the first time she shifted and I wanted to share it with her, it is what binds us together forever it deepens our bond, but she would have to accpet me as her mate, I had already gotten her name tattooed on my shoulder last year, right after the first time I saw her.

I smiled shyly. I knew I could not go through the change alone, and for awhile I was scared because of that. But now I wasn't. If Lucas would be there everything would be fine. It would have to be. There was noone else that I would ever want to be there. With me. It would deepen our bond, I knew. Lucas was the only male I wanted there.

I tilted my head to the side and smiled, "you wanna go for a swim?" I asked her jerking my head towards the pool behind me, the water was cyristle clear and slightly cold but we were in the middle of summer so it would be fine.

I smirked and pulled away from Lucas. I loved to swim. "Of course," I said, taking a running start and jumping higfh into the air, just barely making it into the pool without hitting the side. I cvame up already soaking wet, my eyes glinting in the summer sun. "Coming in?" I asked Lucas before going back under and twirling in the waqter happily.

I smiled watching Kaari "yeah in a minute" I laughed to her before running onto the woods where she couldn't see me, and when I came back out I was in wolf form, my fur was diffarent then most wolves casue my hair was black, gray, white with a little bit of brown to it, it was an odd shade of hair for me to have since most of use had soild colored hair like Kaari, my silver eyes the same as when I was human when in wolf form our eyes never changed they remained the same, and I ran full speed and jumped into the water and when I came up I was in human form.

I smiled and watched Lucas. I loved his wolf form, it was so beautiful. An odd mix of colors, but it just made me love him more. My sweat pants were sticking to my legs now, but I really didn't care. It made it harder to swim but I barely noticed it. I laughed at Lucas and splashed him when he came back up, and dove under the water again. I circled around Lucas and came up silently behind him, giving him a bear hug from behind. "Gotcha," I whispered in his ear. (My plan should come to action now, you should make another female wolf that is jealous of Kaari.  And she can be watching them now. XD) |

I smiled wating Kaari, and when she jumped on my back I laughed "really?" I asked flipping her over my head and swimming in the oppsite dircretion.

He sat in the bushs watching his brother and Kaari, he would do anything to take her away from him, he was crazy and had no rasanel thought, he was just waiting for the chance to take Kaari away for Lucas, he wanted Lucas to know what it felt like to have his true love die.
(gots a better idea, I'll have his brother kidnap her the night before she changes and I am also working up a few other planes in my head *winks*)

I laughed and looked back to where Lucas went. I sunk under the water and came up around him again, and quickly but quietly took a breath and went under water, only to come back up again only enough to see him in front of me. I stood there and waited, having no clue I was being watched.

I luaghing diving under the water and swimming away from her, I was faster then her cause I had already went threw the first shift and I was stronger, it was just starting to get dark and I wanted to get to the waterfall before dark, "hey you want to head to the cave before dark cause you can't see in the dark yet" I said smiling a cocky smile.

I jumped out of the pool shivering a bit and turned back to Lucas. "It may be a hot summer day, but after that I'm freezing..." I said to him still shivering slightly.

I laughed and shifted as I jumped out the water and went behind a bush where I left my cloths and got dressed, we may turn into wolves but were a modiest group "what don't like the truth?" I asked wrapping my arms around her kissing her, before taking her hand and walking towards the waterfall, as we entered it was a deafening sound that you would have to yell to talk but as we walked further into the cave the sound rubbled down a bit I found a contianer of the girls cloths and tossed her a pair hiking shorts, and a tank top "here go change" I said to her turning my back to her and looking for some blackets, there was a corner that she could change in if she wanted too, witch most likley she would since I didn't think she would with me standing there.
