The colors of early morning had just begun fighting their way over the horizon, casting light over the darkness of night. With the light came small creatures, crawling out from their hiding paces to live another day. Several night dwellers were making their way back into their shelters where the brightness that they resented could not reach them. Among these happenings there was one that could not be missed. Her presence radiated over the territory like a wave crashing onto shore. She was indeed fast, the mare that raced over the Wind Plains. Once one had laid eyes on her they might keep looking as she donned a coat that was not common among her kind. On her slim frame, hairs so dark one might call them black, but upon closer inspection one might find that they were of the deepest browns. The tresses that hung wavy from from her neck and hind quarters were of a silvery blond, that shimmered ethereally under the daylight.
After these striking features eyes would be turned to horn that grew from between her thick-lashed silver eyes. It shone light molten silver. It was plain to see that this mare - Vivanieh - as she was known was not running for pleasure. She had a purpose here. To join the Wind Dancers, she repeated the phrase to herself often, as if she was worried she might forget. It was true that she had enjoyed freedom for the last few years but a life of solitude would soon drive her insane. She felt she could be better used here, where she could train her ability over wind and air to defend the unicorns of goodness if she was ever needed. She nodded her head while she ran. She would always be a follower of her king, for it was what she was born to do.
When she thought about it, she needn't go on, for she had reached what she hoped would be her new home. She would not need to physically seek out the one she knew was the lead mare here. So she brought herself to a halt and turned her head to the right. She was next to a small stream. Good, she was thirsty. But first ... Her horn began glowing white before she even consciously made the decision to release a small curling current of magical wind from her lips. "Go", she instructed it, "find the one known as Cloud and request a meeting". She smiled. "Send my respect", she added as an after-thought and watched as it blew to the South.

(Before I post I just want to say beautiful post And Cloud is the leader Morning had just started to gleam over the peaks to the east. As sunlight hit it, the great willow rumbled and shivered. Soon its branches lifted and warm sunlight streamed in on the sleeping unicorns. A beautiful mare walked into the sunlight at the edge of the great willow tree, the sky bright and the grass sparkled from the morning dew that would soon dry. Her dark eyes sparkled with happiness, her pale blond coat gleamed like marble, her long black mane shined like stars in a night sky. She snorted and stomped her black hoof and then reared high, when she rose a wind spun around her and around her herd. She loved this feeling, she reared and again hit her hooves down hard. The rest of the herd had stirred and they all whipped their heads with greeting for the morning light. The few the herd that could control the difficult element wind used it to blow around themselves making their manes and tails fly around. She sighed and watched her herd, and then she spun around and reared again and neighed. When she landed this time she was galloping into the field stirring wind through everything and using it left her herd to a faster pace. Soon the herd stopped to gaze, she stood over them listening to the wind knowing it always carried a message to her. Suddenly a magical swirled around her and barely lifted her mane. Her horn glowed of yellow light and white light, her horn was made of a dozen little spores interlocking with each other. Some were fine gold and others sparkling silver. She opened her eye when the message was over. A wind unicorn. Was her thought, no other kind could send a message on the wind. Dreamer come here. She sent to her young friend, the beautiful earth mare cantered up to her and asked. "Yes Cloud?"Cloud was the lead mare of the Wind Dancer's, Dreamer had been her best friend forever and her family had taken care of her when her family died. "I need you to check out a message I have received. Find its owner and bring them here. But be careful, Faith's herd is still out there. Even though I doubt they would come here." It was obvious that Dreamer didn't want to go, she wanted to find Fledge and speak with him some more. But she nodded and said. "I will bring the messenger."Dreamer's bright chestnut coat gleamed with brilliant highlights as she raced the direction she had sensed the message had come from. It was long before her emerald horn glowed with the presence of magic. Her horn was long and more slender then mosts horns, it looked as if it was made out of hundreds of grass blades. Her green eyes searched the plain and then she whispered. "Dirt and grass that lay on top of it, hear my call and guide the one that is new to our land to me."
